PICOS at IFIP SEC 2011

At the SEC 2011 PICOS is represented with a sub-conference, presenting the highlights of our research work on mobile social communities. The public presentation of PICOS takes place on June 09, 2011.

The PICOS sub-conference includes details about the initial research work (e.g. requirements gathering) and on the elaborated mobile community platform architecture. Further sessions focus the implmentation of this architecture in a platform prototype and community application prototypes, and the trial and evaluation of these prototypes.

The sessions also include a live demo of the prototypes. We present the unique privacy enhancing concepts and features, such as "Partial Identities" to manage your identities in different usage contexts and the unique "Privacy Advisor" which constantly guides you with regard to privacy. Additionally, we give you more insights about the backgrounds and achievements of our project and the opportunity to discuss with the people behind PICOS.
