The ServiceWave "is a unique opportunity for academic researchers and industry practitioners to report on ground breaking research work and present industrial trends, strengthening the cross-community excellence in service oriented computing related domains. It is a place for place for sharing knowledge and networking between experts working on the Service Revolution in Europe today."

This years ServiceWave takes place in Ghent, Belgium, from 13 to 15 December 2010 as part of the Future Internet Week.

As one of only 24 selected research projects, PICOS is represented at ServiceWave 2010 with an own demonstration stand. The demonstration venue is accessible on wednesday 15 December, from 18:00 CET. Our stand lets you explore some of our enhanced privacy and identity management features for communities, as we demonstrate the PICOS Gaming Community Application Prototype. The prototype includes features such as "Partial Identities" to manage your identities in different usage contexts and the unique "Privacy Advisor" which constantly guides you with regard to privacy.
Additionally, we will give you more insights about the backgrounds and achievements of our project and you will get a chance to talk with some of the people behind PICOS.
